Sunday Lately #111

Fighting: Sleep, my body, the patriarchy. This may be total TMI, but I’m just gonna go for it. Donald Trump gave me chronic Diarrhea…..It’s been here with me (every f@%&ing day!!!!) since the day the tapes of him talking about PUSSY GRABBING were released and then reported on by every news outlet. My body sensed the doom, apparently, knew what was coming, and has been in evacuation mode every day since. I’m fairly confident if we could just impeach him, I could just go back to my normal amount of sickness and not this stressed  out mess of a body I have been residing in since October. UGH! (bee tee dub….I totally know that’s not likely why…but home dude is so seriously whack and blames nonsensical stuff on random people all the time, so I figured I go with the trend)

hold please

Daydreaming: I’m constantly daydreaming, thinking go what the finished space will look like in the High School Maker Space I’ve been feverishly working on, planning my trip to Scotland in MAY (I made a Pinterest page and know all the food I want to try. That totally counts, right??), throwing digital design idea after digital design idea around in my head, and dreaming up gloriously flowing spring outfits as well as places to photograph them. I sometimes also daydream about eating calorie-free ice cream the way they do in yogurt commercials.

What I’m dreaming of for Spring:

Delivering: Grants, 3D prints, ideas after ideas after ideas, super awesome Rapunzel stencils for a special little girl’s birthday party, and all the snuggles to my kids and puppy.

Also….COFFEE to my belly!!!

Amusing: my kids…and probably my boss who I provide with an endless slew of dreamy ideas for our public school without extra money. I write grant proposals and they ask what fundraising has been done for this project and I just laugh and laugh. If the school raised any money for anything, it would go to the indoor pool, which currently needs a $1,000,000 renovation to be usable and safe. “You are our only hope” is what I always want to write. I try to draw it out and make it sound more eloquent, though. 😛

About arosephoto

I am a budding portrait photographer who spent the last 7 years as a photographer and journalist in the Marine Corps. I have always wanted to be a successful photographer outside of the Marine Corps, so I am giving it a go!
